When I was at my sister's, we had some very clear, starry nights. Unfortunately, it makes me dizzy to look up at all those stars.
I thought of you, though, wishing you were there to tell me what I was looking at.

I enjoyed my audience at my sister's home, the first batch were so enthralled with my knowledge that they went in and told those who hadn't been bothered enough to come outside the first time, and got them so inspired I had to do the talk again
and seeing the meteors was a true bonus, like the heavens put on a show just for us

Not that I minded giving the talk again, I love imparting my knowledge that I've learned about the constellations, etc. Perry's daughter Charlotte, age 18, didn't know our Sun is actually a star and she was fascinated with the mythology and folklore behind the constellations and she actually said she envied me, knowing all that...I said "I'm self-taught, so you can learn it all too!" so I hope I inspired her.

You're inspiring a lot of people here, too!

I tried to add the Nasa picture of the day to my iGoogle. It's still loading and it's been at least half an hour.

I must come back to look at these; I'm off out now.

Ooh, another new word for me to learn. What is iGoogle?

It's a google page, but you can set it up with additional features so that instead of just having the search bar, you could have, for example, the local weather, BBC News top stories, date and time, jokes, word of the day, and so on. You need a google account to set it up but that's easy enough.

I've never sussed out how it works.
