The world NEEDS to know about the Theramin!
There are a few unsubstantiated opinions, though. You need to be careful about sentences of the form, "What would the world be like without...". This sort of thing is VERY hard to get through the subs, who tend to hack it out.
I think you also need to _describe_ the theremin a bit better. How does it work? What does it look like?
Oh, yeah. There are LOTS of people still using them. I saw a band in St Kilda a year or so ago and the keyboard guy had one. I killed myself laughing whenever he used it.
