According to slashdot.org they're actually going to do a real experiment with the penguins falling over thing. Now that's what I call Evil. Then of course Slashdot goes on to mention how real penguins are nowhere near as slick as the hero of Tux Racer, who is capable of doing 170kph head-first down a mountain on his stomach. If you want to know more about this, go to tuxracer.sourceforge.net where you can get the Windows and/or Linux versions of this currently incomplete but very amusing game.

Hmm... but Tux Racer is free...
It'll be better when version 1.0 comes out. More music, more tracks, multiplayer and computer-controlled opponents. At last!
Still, hitting an ice pillar at 160kph and not killing Tux is somewhat reassuring. It means he's invincible!
