Can I be Carm Keeper. It's not in one of your catergorys but hay, could you fit me in someplace?
Old Jimmy
PS: I really like the idea.

That's Calm Keeper, I'll keep people quite either by sorting them out or telling them to calmly calm the calm down.

As I recall somebody has set up some kind of 'Keeper' wotnot on h2g2... various people have 'keeper' in their username, eg. Keeper of Walnuts. It's not part of the Alabaster House though. I could appoint you Minister of Calmness if you like, or you could search for the Keeper thing, but I don't really want to expand the categories beyond government type things...

What about Minister Of Reality Checking? Ay?

That sounds very worthwhile
I have difficulty recognising reality myself so a dedicated minister would be a godsend...
I've added you to the list as Minister of Reality Checking. If you create a ministry page (completely optional, most ministers sitting down doing sod-all, which technically is the business of the Ministry of Doing Sod-All, but they don't seem to care) then I'll add the link.
Welcome aboard

I was thinking that even nowhere must be somewhere, and as such should have an Ambassador sent to it!
Should you agree that this is a necessary appointment, I will leave immediately in search of nowhere, and when I eventually get nowhere, I'll... umm... I'll...uh.. I don't know, do something I 'spose.

Sounds logical to me. I've added you to the list. I wonder if we should have a Minister of Nothing, too... after all, we've got a minister of doing sod-all already.
Anyway, welcome aboard, Ambassador to Nowhere!

*Bows a very ambassadorly bow*
Thank you very much....
*grabs a couple of hurriedly packed suitcases, and rushes off to pretty much nowhere*

I'll be sure to do that!!
I have started to come to the conclusion that no-one knows where nowhere is. The problem is where do I find no-one?

Calm down my child! No-one can obviously be found in the Land of Nowhere where you will be welcomed with open arms! Keep looking - never give up!

Eternity (Ace) Posted Mar 30, 2001
Calm down, how can I calm down, thats terrible news! I was hoping no-one would tell me, but now you have, that means no-one doesn't know. So what will become of no-one if he is nowhere, and doesn't nowhere nowhere is?!?!?!
What about....me?
Peregrin Posted Mar 30, 2001
Nobody still knows exactly how to get to Nowhere, so don't worry.

Eternity (Ace) Posted Mar 30, 2001
I guess so. Best I get going then. Time waits for no-one...
Why is it that he insists on popping up everywhere? No-one this, no-one that, blah, blah, blah!!
*all the while muttering under her breath, she stalks out to resume her search*

Peregrin Posted Mar 30, 2001
Time must be very patient then, because as far as I know, No-one has avoided Time so far.
*goes cross eyed and tries not to blither*
