h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi, TheOkapi (Can I call you TO for short?), I really like this idea and it also fits in with what we are doing over at the Utopia Cafébar:

I will also ask Purplejenny to link her page to yours; the ideas and the ideals are the same.

TO, I would really like it if people were willing to really talk IN DEPTH about the problems, if they were willing to do some reading about the issues, because they are complicated. What I want to do over here in h2g2 is to write lots and lots of entries, with long arguments and lots of facts and pictures and links to other places on the 'net. My own personal mission is raising people's awareness and level of knowledge and understanding of environmentalism, human rights, human values and so on. Many people understand these things only on a rudimentary level, but these things need to be understood in detail, and by a great many people. So what I want to know is, would you be interested? If so, I will regularly put up links and posts here that treat these problems thoroughly. We need to change people's hearts and minds. And that demands dedication and perseverance.
