Does your reference to god really do a favour to human rights?

I am a great fan of human rights and think you are doing some really important work. But I can't help adding a small remark:
History has shown hat christian religion suppresses human rights, and it still does. I'll only mention a few things: Freedom of thinking (e.g. the Theorie of Evolution), Freedom of sexual preferences (e.g. beeing gay), Freedom of dressing (e.g.clothing-optional bathing).
So in my opinion it would be good not to mention "god" when promoting human rights.

W-T-S!
Thanks for having a rummage through what I have managed to write on the HIP pages thus far! I agree with what you say and would go further, in terms of including other religions too...look at the plight of women in Muslim countries, to site just one example!
The quote at the very outset of the HIP intro was more of a broad based reference rather than a direct inclusion of 'God' in the pages themselves; a way of illustrating that we, as travellers on this globe, are ALL in this together, are ALL under the microscope, are ALL guinea pigs...usually of other peoples experiments and are ALL in this gigantic laboratory, like or not...and theonly way to ensure that the 'experiment' is sucessful, is to take care of the 'animals and make sure their environment is healthy! And apart from anything else, I like Tennesse williams!

*blushes furiously* and heads off to do lots more 'relevant' stuff on the people section of 'H.I.P.'.....and I like you too, mainly because there's someone else out there prepared to actually read what is written and see it for what it is intended to be...
