Lost and Found!??
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Oct 24, 2000
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....
I love words...
Not to be dark and gloomy, but there is a "verse" of sorts that I want written on my tombstone: "We can read poetry, and recite poetry, but to LIVE poetry... is the SYMPHONY of life"... or something quite close to that!!!
Back to happier things!!! My trochee, Emily(named after Miss Dickinson), had a fine visit at the Iambic Pentameter's today!!!

I like that quote! What an epicurean, epigramatic epitaph! ... Nothing dark or gloomy about it at all!
I'm relieved to know that Emily is getting all the best professional attention. One must be so careful. A little early to think about scanning yet, I suppose?

You... are crazy... you mean scanning to see how many babies are expected!??
(oh, English comes in many forms...)
Emily is in good care. I just hope she won't give birth to some mutts. What will the neighbors say!?? Emily's rarely an outside pet... She stays indoors and plays with words all day!!! I wouldn't never thought...

Well, yes, I qualify as crazy, can't argue with that ... ... but ...
I love words, but I also "tease" them (in a loving way). I can never resist a pun, or a double meaning, hence, "scanning" was used ambiguously ... both in the medical sense, and in the sense that properly constructed verse "scans" and matches the rules for the various feet. Sorry if my joke caused a minor disturbance!

I'm not sorry about a minor disturbance of any sort... I myself was thinking about both of the possible meanings!!!
I am happy you tease words in a loving, not cruel way. It's the best way to go. Use them often enough, and they'll always be in your head!!!
