yes web tv is very limiting but I guess I shouldnt moan as its the only way I am able to be online at present. thanks for the links to info.. jofrog

When I was first online just over a year ago, I'd only ever seen the webTV and not the internet on a real computer. So I found things very difficult. I thought I was stupider than a stupid person because I couldn't get things to work.
h2g2 and the BBC's websites are not really that bad , compared to some of the "household names" commercial sites. On some other websites I was unable to get past their front page.
As you say, webTV is better than no internet access at all.
The value of the internet increases with each additional person who gets connected, as someone once said.
