Hi everyone!!
You know, I saw a lot of logos for this place like the first day I was on h2g2, thought 'that sounds cool, maybe I should go and check it out...' and here I am, a week and a half later. I probably should e-mail my travel agent and get her to look for plane fares for my trip in December, but somehow I ended up on h2g2 instead. Sound familiar to any of you?
I thought as well that I'd point something out. Procrastination can have a lot to do with impatience. Paradoxical, eh? It's true: due to impatience with the task at hand, another less trying activity is found. Add that in with the thought about waiting until the task can be completed in a better manner later and I think that all of procrastination can be explained!
I'm gonna go now, put a link in plain text to the Society on my page, 'cause I still haven't learned how to add special logos and colors and stuff... If there's something evil for one of you to do in the near future, feel free to stop by my page and explain how to get out of plain text and into more fun stuff. Yeah, I know that there's stuff on the Guide already to show how to do all of that, but I never finished reading the whole thing, and it's easier to talk through it with someone, right? Besides, now I don't have to do it until someone stops by and tells me how to...

About spelling, um, what can I show you that would help? I mean, it would do no good for me to teach you spelling if you live in an 'english' as opposed to an 'american' country...

All right, I checked out your page so you should be getting an e-mail from me presently.
American spelling is a lot easier than British... too many extra vowels, like 'color' instead of 'colour' to use the first example that I could think of. Usually I just spell something out and then see if it looks right, and if it doesn't, I change the vowels around until it does. Either that or I skip the word entirely and use another that I know how to spell. Um, there should e some rules and stuff, but I don't remember most of them... I'll go look them up one of these days and then I'll let you know.
