Please join me for a small celebration ... apologies for talking "h2g2 shop" in the pub ... but the h2g2 University project that I headed up has just been released, and I'm feeling happy, It's a series of articles about Baroque Music and composers - all linked. if you care to take a look, the covering article is at http://www/h2g2.com/A420724 , and you can pick up all the links from there.
...and even if you don't look - come and have some bubbly with me! Cheers all!

*Is envisioning Kes shaking the bottles and drenching everyone in champagne just like a celebratory sports event!*

Kes Posted Jan 5, 2001
* ... after all, Kes would never waste champagne! He pours himself another glass, also pouring another and holding it out to mari.*
Are you sure I can't tempt you? ... just one glass?

Coo! Nasty things going on outside, I assure you. I'll have a glass of Laphroaig, if you have it. No ice, just a spoonfull of roomtempered water, thank you.

Happy New Year Kes!
I've been researching my single malt scotches. And celebrated on the 1st with some Scots, I'll be checkin' into the Baroque site in a sip.
I just wanted to thread in with you.
Worlds of Love and Raise your glasses to this New Year's Toast:
May your right hand always be extended in greeting and never in want.
May your larder be stocked to enable you to honour the grand tradition of Highland hospitality.
May you never meet a stranger and may the excise man stay far from your door.
May the good Lord bless and keep you and yours and may you greet each new sunrise with a willing heart and a song on your lips.
May you have the peat to warm your house from the cold!
Lang may yer lum reek! To a bright New Year! Slainte'!
