Tschörmen (german) -|-04.04.02

*Engländer, rushing in from Hamburg by ICE-Train, 1.Class, because the Deutsche Bahn got dates muddled and all our seatreservations are for next tuesday *g**

WOW; and I had a way hey hey of a time! Hamburg isn´t the town for me, but we were in a show at Schmidt´s Tivoli called Sixty, Sixty, and Dragonfly: There was a bit about the Beatles in the show! It was a revue of the german songs popular in the 1960ies, and they sing a medley of the Songs, the fab four sang in German! (FAB-ulous, great lough)

And what a breakfast I had this morning: Bacon and eggs, three rolls, sauseges, 2 1/2 croisants, coffee, juice,...

and later on a RL-Pharisäer and A ham-and-mozarella-Bagel. Didn´t know you could get those in Germany. And I am still full up now.

Doesn´t look like you needed my cleaning machine...

*Is trying to enjoy the music Kes put on, but there is deafening snoring coming from behind that screen. smiley - tongueout*

Englander, the show sounded fun. I believe the Beatles did sing in German when they toured there.

E´s alter ego-|-04.04.02

Yes. I guess the did two or three singles in German.

And Hamburg believes, they were the start of the beatles career.

Kes

Yes, - it's a fair claim. The Beatles played the clubs there before Ringo became their drummer, as did a few other UK groups who (unlike the fab 4) then sunk into obscurity.

*Joe C (on the jukebox) has finished. Kes selects "Oceans Apart", followed by "Reason to Believe" (Rod Stewart).*
