Hati Posted Dec 24, 2001
*returns from the shower, all wet and dropping*
Could anybody give me a towel, please?
Crossed Purposes: December 2001
Kes Posted Dec 24, 2001
Never go anywhere without your towel, Hati! ... *Hands Hati a couple of the towelling bar runners* Hope they'll do!

*trembles with cold, wrappes herself in*
Something happened to my towel few weeks ago and I can't find it anymore. It's angry with me, I guess.

*goes to the juke-box & selects a tune...
the music begins as Pan returns to the bar, singing: It's nature's way of telling you...something's wrooooong...it's nature's way...*

Gwennie Posted Dec 24, 2001

It all started while was boppen' at a concert...a guy gave me something to drink & the next thing I know...I'm seeing the future!!! Wow man, what a trip! There were movie stars in the White House...I'm not talkn' 'bout the one down the street...I mean THE White House...far-out huh? Ooo, Oh, then like all of a sudden there was a guy as Prez who was too stupid to inhale!
No, I swear...it was sooo REAL!!! *sips her martini* Ewww...who took my Boone's Farm Apple Wine? Ah, well...Oh & then there was all this stuff about cordless phones & people actually LIVING in space!!! Ooo, and then we all had these little thingies, we could write & even talk & see eachother in them! I mean like you really were there with someone like all the way in Europe!
And then like a new Century began...the World was STILL really ed up...wars...people picking on eachother for their beliefs...sheesh...I KNOW by the next Century all that crap will be worked out...cause, like, we've come a long way baby!
*notices that she's wearing a dress she's never seen before...
a bit freaked out...she's looking like she's been rode hard and put away wet!* Hey, you guys...how long have I been here? What happened to yesterday? *takes a breath & realizes that this is JUST a trip...so, she can't totally control the outcome...just go with the flow...yeah, that's cool. *notices the decorations*
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!! It's going to be so strange now that the 60's are offically over.
