Crossed Purposes: October 2001

I may have to learn how to post that virtual moon. I too am aglow with the coming fall season.I had planned to skip All Hallow's Eve and go straight for "El dia de los Muertos" celebration con los Jaguares Hispanohablantes. Who knows what the cards hold when the seasons turn.Kwel smiley or sticky, whatever it shines on us all and that's one thing we can share universally on the h2g2. I am exicited on the 3rd of Oct., I was swimming earlier with my speedo glasses with holographic daisies blooming on their dark lenses. The moon's glow, no doubt reflected the image. Temperature 84 degrees F. Enjoy your part of the world and pass it on.
WOL,

Psst: And now I absolutely must sleep!

*Looks down at shirt. Notices one button left over at the top. Unfastens all buttons, then fastens them up again - this time correctly aligned to the button holes.*

Why thank you Egon! Would you like to dine in Paris? Or is there somewhere nearby that you like? The sky's the limit.
Easy on that cider E!!! Geez...wonder if they've ALL turned
hard? (the cider barrels...get your minds out of the gutter)
Egon there are men's evening clothes in the men's room & I'll want to slip onto as little as possible, er, I mean, slip into a little something. Just want to hang one strand of decorations I put together...this place is really starting to look spookie!
Just wanted to make the MODERATORS feel welcomed.
s to the ladies & shimmies into a silver gown & sparkeling
sliver ballet slippers...puts a bit of glitter on her fingernails, runs a brush through her hair, sprinkels a bit of glitter into her hair &
is awaiting Egon at the bar*

*E has another try at the cider, and notices, that the freshly pressed "Apfelsaft" is only just starting it´s fermentation...*
Hey, I must have either got on something totaly different, or I was only acting.
I wonder which it was?
*Has a ice*
Here, Pan, how about wearing some of this decoration! *Waves a slip at her*

Well, Pan. All I can say is that you look stunning. I'm trying to think of a costume for the party. If you are going glam, maybe I should too?

Vintage clothes!!! Yes, please!!! I have always loved the Gibson Girl look from the late 1800s... So I will have a white shirtwaist blouse, tucked and pleated, topped with a little jacket with curling "frogs" over a long straight matching skirt, cunning little boots, and a very grand hat with a feather over long thick hair piled on my head. All done in rose, I think. I think I saw this outfit in an episode of STNG, in fact... the one with Data as Holmes and Moriarity comes to life. !!
I'll need to concoct a spell to last through Halloween. Think I'll be younger for this one too...

You mean you still have your clothes from all the way back in the 1800s Mari?
I don't suppose anyone remembers where my costume ended up last time?

Wearing something with little froggies on it eh? (said he, deliberately misunderstanding the surling term) How appropriate .... for a witch with a spell

What costume would that be Linus? I thought that you had invisible clothes...
I think that I might come as a...or a...no, perhaps a...
