What does it not work for, would be my question...
Crossed Purposes: October 2001
Kes Posted Oct 21, 2001
Well, it would not work if you applied it to itself ... because then it would take itself back to a time before it was invented ...and it wouldn't exist, so it couldn't have affected itself ...and ... Eeek! I need a drink!

Scheers, matesh --- will need scheers
Hey, I think we need a tag, too. Bit boring being drunk and not clearing up in the end... What´s that white stuff, there, on the purple couch???

Hi Titania!! I'd give you a hug, but I'm afraid I'd hurt your wee wings.
Oh, Mari-rae...what have I told you girls about giving your drugs away? Poor Seth...I'm not really sure what THAT will do to HIM...it's ...well look right here on the package:TO BE TAKEN IN SMALL QUANITIES BY WOMEN ONLY. MIX WITH AT LEAST A LITER OF WATER AND DRINK. THE EFFECTS WILL BEGIN AT ONCE, REACHING FULL STRENGTH WITHIN ONE HOUR AND LASTING EXACTLY 36 HOURS. (AGE MAY VARY ACCORDING TO AGE WHEN TAKEN. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS AFTER CONSUMING. IN CASE OF OVERDOSE CALL DR. BOMBAY RIGHT AWAY. CALL THE CDC IF INGESTED BY MEN OR SMALL RODENTS. DO NOT SPINDLE OR MUTILATE)
Now what? *takes oput book of spells*
Quick Seth...kiss me...long and hard!!! Hurry!!! Oooo, I liked that!
The spell?
Oh, no, that had nothing to do with the spell...I just wanted Seth to kiss me. HA~
*flips thru the book...*Here we go...Seth, take three steps back & spin three times to your right, then, whilst hopping on your left foot say:"Red leather, yellow leather." Three times fast. That will counteract the drug. Don't stumble over the words or you'll have to start all over again. Here Seth, this BLUE dust is for the men.
Kes, why do you want younger hair?I think your white hair is so soft, fluffy & wise looking! But you may borrow any of the wigs I have set up in the ladies...
*puts up more decorations for the party*
*
Whoo...I'm parched...shall we have some hard cider?

*E pats *
I think I´d like some cider, Pan. How about some music?
*Goes to jukebox, puts on Frank Sinatra...*

Kes Posted Oct 22, 2001
Ah! I have news of your costume, Linus .... Apparently you will be dressed as the Greenwich Time Signal ... so you get to wear six pips, strategically positioned, and you can give everyone a Mean Time.

*gives Pandora a , not the least bit worried about her wings, since they are not only elven but also archangelish*
Kes!
It's been ages (feels like it, anyway) since I had one of your PGGBs - could you mix me one pleeeeeeaaaaase?
Crossed Purposes: October 2001
Kes Posted Oct 22, 2001
Good to see you again ... Yes - PGGBs coming up ... I expect Pan will join us with one too ...
*Deftly mixes several very large PGGBs*

Pandora...Born Again Tart Posted Oct 22, 2001
Sorry...my spelling is worse than ever. Haven't been to sleep in nearly 40 hours.
Kes, could you translate that last bit for me? You lost me somewhere around the Greenwich thingy.
Is it getting sleepy in here or is it juat me?
Linus, let's not wait until the last moment to think about a costume!!! Wouldn't want you to have to wear the same ole' thing!
Anyone care to have one of my special Halloween drinkie-poos?
I'll just make several & leave them on the bar for anyone willing to try one. *puts a dozen highball glasses onto a tray makes a dozen Bloody -Brains* Yummy! *downs three*
*realizes what E.'s put on the jukebox* MY EARS!!!
MY EARS!!! HAAAAAAALP!!!
*when last Seen, Pandora was trowing hrself into the path of an on-coming double-decker bus*
Crossed Purposes: October 2001
Kes Posted Oct 22, 2001
Sure, Pan ... it's an English joke ... the radio time-check in the UK comes from Greenwich observatory, and consists of six "pip" noises - the last one marks the exact hour. (Hence a costume consisting of six "pips" ......) ... and the standard time is called "Mean Time" .... Hope the bus missed you, btw ....

Pandora...Born Again Tart Posted Oct 22, 2001
Oh, well pip-pip & all that rot. And yes, the
ing driver missed me entirely.
The drivers are not at all like the ones we have here, this side of the Pond, as it were.
Guess I'll just have to get 'smashed' the standard way.
Let the puns begin...What am I saying?!? I think I could do with wee nap. Just 14 hours or so ought to pick me right up again. *puts on her eye pads to block out the Sunlight & heads for the Blue Goo Couch...Falls over a chair...CRASH...*
*gets up only to trip over Plato*...Thud...er
*gets
up and falls over the back of the couch hitting her head on the arn of the couch*...*takes out notebook, pulls sleep mask onto head & writes:Put mask on 'AFTER' you arrive at the sleep destination!!!*G-Night/day/whatever everyone
*flips sleep mask over eyes & is asleep before she can lie down*
