This is my first guide entry.

Excellent! I can see that this is destined to get into the Edited Guide. It's just the right style.

There are a few changes you'll have to do first, because the House Style imposes certain restrictions:

1. You shouldn't mention yourself, so take out any references to "I recommend" and "what sort of a researcher would I be". There's usually a neutral way you can say this.

2. It was nice of you to provide a picture for this, but the editors will remove it. They control the pictures on Edited Entries. They may decide to put in their own picture, in which case they will commission one specially from the artists. On the other hand, they may decide to publish it without a picture.

3. Get rid of the colour on the word "love". Edited Entries have to be visible in a number of different "skins", and if you start putting colours in, it will look bad on some skins, so it is best to leave your text as plain text.

There are a few spelling mistakes, so you might like to copy and paste this into Microsoft Word to spot them. I can proofread the whole thing for you if you like.

Once you've made these few changes, it should be ready to go into Peer Review.
