But I didn't have anywhere else to tell anyone about it.
Lizard Prince and I were considering starting up a Comedian's Guild where pro and amateur comedians could meet, exchange jokes, and have an all around good time. We were wondering if anyone would be interested (Jester?).
Also, since we've never began a group like this before, we were kind of looking for advice to get it going. Any suggestions?

RedFish and Bob(muses both) would probably be interested...
My advice is to advertise as much as possible-- nickname and the POST, the Overwhelmingly Huge Guide(which is linked to on the Societies, Sites and Services page). And then sit back and wait. I never thought the Musehome would get anywhere...
OH!!! Bluebottle and Wowbagger would probably get in on it as well. Shea is a good-humored muse, as is a Girl Called Jack...
You could do personal invites to researchers, although that could get time-consuming....

Wow, thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to follow it as well as I can. We might get this thing off the ground after all!

The new guild is finally up! http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A563483 is the addy. Thanks Dragonfly, for all your help. Lizard Prince and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you.
