Interesting. All I ever knew about Liechtenstein was that it's German tax evaders' paradise - or used to be until the tax office found out. I didn't even know they speak German there.
A few nitpicks: Liechtenstein is a country, so the personal pronoun should be its (not her) througout the entry.
>>Fortschrittlich Bürgerpartei<< - Fortschrittliche...
Footnote 11: Wordl Trade Organistation - World...
I'm sure there's more, these are just the things that jumped out at me.

Thanks La Bean, I've been having a bad day with pronouns today - I was calling people "it" in emails earlier - so it turns out it's actually been a bad week, what with the calling countries "her". You wouldn't think I used to be an English teacher!
All sorted now.

And you caught me mere minutes after I had made an anagram of my name.

"Her" is common and accepted usage when talking about countries in English. "It" would be acceptable too, of course, but there's no necessity to change it.

Oh, I stand corrected. It certainly looks very odd to a mere foreigner like me, though.

>>if you happen to have $170,000 to spare you can rent the entirety of Liechtenstein<<
How long do you get it for?
Oh and 26th May 1924 >> 26 May, 1924

Officially, there are no genders for inanimate objects in English. However cars, ships, and countries, are often referred to as being female. Probably a left-over from French or German or one of the other many languages that went to make up English.

My favourite Liechtenstein fact - it is the only country that has ever gone to war and come back with more troops than it left with.
During the Napoleonic Wars against the Italian city states, Liechtenstein sent 16 troops to show their support for Napoleon. When the war was over, they had 17 men.
Good entry

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
