sadi_ranson_polizzotti - all in a golden afternoon....

hi all ~~~ i think this piece made it into Fiction, though i'm not positive ~~ where, if it did make it, would i find the link.... i'm still a newbie and trying to sort out site architecture. is there one place where there are links to each different section of the site? That would help me a great deal if anyone knows.

please advise about the above if you have a moment. Thanks, I think REd said it was in, but i wasn't sure... i'd be so so happy, but need clarity and the link... that way, i can direct traffic from my own site.

many thanks and cheers all ~~~ feedback most certainly welcomesmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - alesmiley - run i'm off...

Thanks Terran ~ how do i submit another piece for your consideration... do i just put it under "peer review" even if it's in the first person?/? please advise, i'm a bit confused about that.

Terran

Well... nothing is ever straight forward on h2g2 smiley - winkeye Peer Review (which I found out to my disappointment a while ago now) is only for entries which have some factual basis (or are entries discribing fiction - eg. the Doctor Who entry they have). The equivalent official group for fiction is a group called the UnderGuide, which contains stuff that doesn't meet the Edited Guide limits.

To get in to the UnderGuide you need to go through the AWW forum (which is on the same pull down list when you try to submit an entry in to a forum as the Peer Review one). I'm kind of involved in that still (though not as much), and was one of the founder members. But sadly again, I don't think there is enough emphasis on fiction. Theres lots of poetry and personal work... which is fine - but I don't think it fulfils the need there is on h2g2 for story writing.

Thats where we come in... or rather Fiction Central. The link to it is here : A294833 and if you ever want to submit something just write a conversation at the bottom and include the 'A' number of the story you're writing.

We're not official - yet. But we've been going so long now that we're part of the furtinure. There have been two previous people running the group (before the joint running of it between me and HPB), Lance Boyles (the founder) and then Peregrin.

The other possibilities are <./>thePost</.> and <./>agggag</.>-cac.

Anyway, hope that makes things a little clearer. smiley - ok

All the best, and good to meet you too smiley - biggrin

Hi Terran: how would i get this into the post? if i can't publish it here, i have a place for it.. but if it's in the database i'd need to delete it etc etc. so i dont' want to that, but if it doesn't have chance then i'm not sure.

how to get it into the post would be a good question...

hmmmm

i'm not sure how to submit to the post. the dropdown menu would be better if it were clearer and had more of the divisions listed andnot just the writing workshops, if that makes sense.. well anyway.. let me know.. thanks for yourhelp with this smiley - smileysmiley - smileysmiley - oksmiley - cheers

have a great weekend... and bye for now smiley - run
