Muse
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Nov 6, 2003

Goodness... you certainly do inspire such things.... consider yourself a muse... I'm not letting myself be bothered with updating any rosters or mass posting any muses... ::sigh:; Those were the days... when I had one real job, and my classes weren't as time consuming...

Shea the Sarcastic Posted Nov 7, 2003
Thanks for the suggestion, SpAcEcAdEt_1st_ClAsS! I've heard lots of good things about those books, but haven't gotten around to reading them. I suppose it's about time to apply for a library card!
Muse
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Nov 7, 2003
Goodness!!! I hope you were being sarcastic about the library card thing....
Muse
Shea the Sarcastic Posted Nov 8, 2003
Not that time. I didn't get a new one when I moved. The library's walking distance from here, so I really should. The thing is, since I got married, I've got all of TJ's books to read, and he has all of mine to read (and I've got thousands), so I haven't needed to search for anything outside the home. We'd like to get a card to at least rent videos, though. We're just terrible procrastinators!

Hehe!
OW
dammit, those damn bedsteads........grrrrrrrr
*Puts up umbrella again*
Try Ian Rankin also Shea
Examp titles to prove point
'The hollow chocalate bunnies of the apocolypse'
or the very confusing
'The witches of chiswick'
which is very confusingly about time travel and wierd things
If your going to try a terry pratchett book i suggest a good starting one is 'Gaurds! Gaurds!'
Thats one of the less confusing ones, so you can get used to his mad style.
My thrilling week so far involoved buying his new book 'Monstrous regiment' and reading it, then getting board and whilst searching the internet for something coming across this random thing.......
http://cityofthedead.freewebspace.com/index.html
Check it out, someone has gone...............nutty..............
the 'spoof' is quite amsuing though, although i was looking rather more for holidays to egypt rather than spoofs of 'the mummy'
my friend would like yo go but shes not exactly computer literate'.

.... all of my friends would like Shea. Who in the world wouldn't!??
I don't like Terry Pratchett. I picked the wrong book-- The Truth-- to read. Full of predictability, dumb humor, and cliches.
