We have a winner! Well done Kelli - I was worried I'd made it a bit too complicated...
Just to clarify - Charles Bronson was one of the 3 in the Dirty Dozen who survived (which is good), one of the 4 in the Magnificent Seven who died (usually considered a bad thing), and finally was one of the 3 members of the Great Escape who made it to safety (which was bloody fantastic!).
Take it away Kelli...

Old MacDonald, who isn't terribly keen on bureaucracy and officials, gets a visit from the local farm inspector to check on his animals. The inspector wants to make sure he has the same number as he is claiming subsidies for.
The inspector bustles up to Old MacDonald and asks, in his most officious tone, 'Sir I demand to know how many animals you have, and what sort they are!'
Old Macdonald, with and angry glint in his eye replies 'They are all cows, except four that aren't. And they are all bulls, except four that aren't.'
'But, that won't fit on my form!' Splutters the inspectors, looking a little crestfallen, 'You have to tell me more than that!'
'Well, I have the same number of horses as I do cattle, not counting any chickens I might have' growled Old MacDonald, glaring daggers att he inspector.
Quite confused by this time, the inspector asks meekly 'Do you have any chickens then?'
'I might, I might not. Anyway, I haven't got anything else, goodbye!' says Old MacDonald, and slams the door in the inspectors face.
Trudging back to his car the inspector sorrowfully tries to work out how many of each type of animal he should enter on his form.
Can you tell him the answer?
