And I declare Dr.J. the winner.
Dr.J.you don't win the $100, you only get to ask the next question

My reason is that you haven't mentioned heptagons anywhere else in the puzzle, and they would feel left out if all other polygons between triangle and octagon got a mention and they didn't.
EQUAL RIGHTS FOR HEPTAGONS!

*studies her scribbling*
Eh - uh - well, I decided to write down the number of corners, and lined them up as you lined up the polygons - and the number 4 seemed to slide one step to the right for every new row - so - the sixth number in the 4th row would be the next position for the number 4 to slide into, provided it follows the pattern I thought I could see - and 4 is a square, so... does anything of this make any sense?

What's a hept-Egon?
Is that the shape an Egon leaves in the snow?
They're very hard to track I bet.
