Clue there have been 51 PMs in total so your count back to Atlee is inaccurate.

I made Attlee number 42 too, counting forward. However, counting back from Brown at 51... Eden.

The Eden Project - also Eden in Genesis - the 'two eastenders' would be the two who went to live to the east of Eden, perhaps? Which would be Adam and Eve but also Cain and Abel.

Land of Nod? For your average atheist, 'fictional creation' is a big old net when fishing in those particular waters smiley - smiley

It looks as though we've all been referring to A4197440. The prelude to the list of PMs claims there have been 51 PMs, but the list itself contains 52 entries, with Gordon Brown being 52nd.

Ok possibly the times didn't check my research when I wrote the question.

Eden is the corretly identified PM however, and the project in Cornwall does bear his name. And the inhabitents of the original have been identified.

However, the tenuous link has been missed but a clue it isn't in the words per se and that will lead you to the East End.

I haven't one prepared, so let's try this:

What is SQRT(1 + (SQRT(2 + (SQRT(3 + SQRT(4 + .... [to infinity]

SQRT is the square root, of course.

Some superfluous brackets in there (doesn't affect the result):

It should be

SQRT(1 + SQRT(2 + SQRT(3 + SQRT(4 + .... [to infinity]

so nothing to do with the cornish marching to london?

In response to Icy's question, that sort of evuil maths looks likely to result in an answer of either 1, 0 or infinity.

Personally I think it's one, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna try and work it out.
