Mobile Phones

3 Conversations

Two rumours: the first that constant use of mobile phones gives you brain cancer; the second that constant use of mobile phones improves your memory. Not mutually exclusive nor indeed such a bad thing: if you’ve got brain cancer you certainly need to remember to go to the doctor’s. And in fact when you get there you need to be able to remember why you’re there otherwise you might just say "Oh, I don’t know what I’ve come here for, I feel quite well" and go home again. Popular in the extreme, use of mobile phones has now reached the point where, if you do go to your doctor you should say you are allergic to them, and you will be given sick leave forever.
