Hello? hello? I wonder when this exciting-looking place opens. I'm after some local history. Oh well, back later...

Wow! I'm in there! People always did say that I make an exhibition of myself...
I'll be back for the grand opening!

Gosh cloviscat - wow what a splendid building - and its even got you in it!
I'm frankly bamboozled - Is this part of the village library or is this part of the university/town library - or is this a completly new library

The Town Library and Museum is now open to interested parties for their comments and suggestions.
BB: May I borrow your "Aeroplanes of the Isle of Wight" series for the Main Display?

Now now! Too much blushing and hugging in the library. Perhaps that may be why no one has posted to this conversation for almost six weeks. I'm joking kids! Carry on, carry on. Takes me back to my undergraduate years when I used to hide with my sweetheart behind the tallest stacks. Ah..those were the days! Let's recreate them in our new Museum and Library. After all, if I get the gist of h2g2, time travel is one of our powers. Just remember those peanuts and beer! Keep up the good work Madam Minister. Where shall we hold Cabinet meetings? Why, the Museum/Library of course! I think Ogden Nash should be appointed honourary Minister of Poetry or Minister Without Portfolio. e.e cummings might make a good shadow minister

Lipsbury Pinfold (Part-time Timelord) Posted Sep 30, 2000
Does ee cummings cast a good shadow - I'd have thought with being so lowercase he'd be a bit nondescript. Wouldn't you prefer someone like Hitchcock who has shadow experience?
Hello?
Micheal Jay Mole Posted Sep 30, 2000
Lipsbury you make a very good point! I second the motion to have Hitchcock as shadow minister. I also want to say, "Thank God" for being there Lipsbury. H2g2 was gone for a few days. You are the first researcher I have been able to connect with at the h2g2 site. Has anyone figured out what happened? Were we all abducted by ET?
