My apologies; I really should have posted to say that we do have a successor to B lined up, I have a draft version of the column in my inbox, I've approved it, and we're sorting out the small print at the moment. We should be back in the next issue.

It's just the riders in my contract, Matt. The Post team apparently "isn't used to" providing contributors with a crate of beer, corned beef sandwiches and a masseuse.
What's this place coming to?
