Malaysian Teapot here!

The pumpernickel entry seems to have left out some essentials - anything about actually eating the stuff, its superb taste and texture, and a couple of recipes or examples for its use.

Almost as hard to choose as last month.

In the end, the Malaysian Teapot for me.

What a pleasurable hour it's been making my mind up, though. I've laughed aloud, frowned in disbelief and even shed a tear, but never yawned. It's a great idea you had here, B. My thanks.

I liked the teapot and cucumber entries and the pumpernickel was definitely interesting as we eat schwartzbrot here fairly regularly.

However I feel that I have to give my vote to the Chris Brasher entry. I'd never heard of him before this and only ever thought about Bannister in connection with the 4 min. mile until now. Good job!

Malaysian Teapot for me as well. I liked the way that entry took something so many news articles put a "look at the silly people" spin on and showed it for the human rights issue it is.
