For various reasons my house in the UK is left empty for long periods.
When I go home I reluctantly sweep away the cobwebs.The reluctance is because the number of dead flies entangled is enormous. The alternative when you have the windows open in the summer is flypapers, supposing you can find them, and they're not nearly so pretty
