Wand'rin star

Thirty years ago my mother caught hepatitis in England where it is a notifiable disease. The medical officer of health (that should probably be a capitalised title : MOH) came round to give instructions. Mum was too ill to actually toss her head when he came out with the bit about rinsing in boiling water and leaving to drain, as that is what I had always done for which she had always called me a slut. I haven't _owned_ a tea towel for fifteen years (smiley - star)
