phphph that icy fresh air is really bracing isn't it. O.K. I'm off down to the harbour, which way is it. Do we expect to meet up again here or do we just teleport back using the watches, how long should we stick around for, when's the next disappearance? I'll make sure I stay on dry land.

docsharp Posted Sep 22, 2008
So what did you find then, do you want to head back to the ship or are we off for another day. I didn't think that Budhism had reached Britain by 1854? I ran into a few monks down at one of the taverns, they were trying to drum up support from some Spiritual leader that was due to come in by boat. Could be relevant.

When you think of the effect that a Buddhist philosophy could have had in the highly industrious Victorian society and it's potential knock on effects to the time line, this sounds like a Karma police job to me.

Mystery 67,343,453

The disappearance of the entire Karma Police force.
First I thought I'd give a bit of background on the Karma Police from what my dad told me before he disappeared around the time of my 18th birthday. He served them for 300 years, then he met mum and got drummed out.
They were set up at the beginning of time by the time lords, their job is to ensure that time lords can travel through time safely. You remember those films where people that travelled back in time never knew what they were coming back to cause what they did in the past would alter the future. Well it's the Karma Police's job to keep the effects of a time traveller's actions to an absolute minimum. There general code of practice is the Shaddow Proclamation, which has been written down in several volumes in several languages.
They initially were a top secret organisation but started to issue public information films around the turn of the 2nd Earth Millenia.
Only a time traveller would notice if they had disappeared as this would make getting back to where you started from nigh on impossible.
The amazing rise in conspiracy theories in my time will give rise to some time travellers allegations of corruption amongst the Karma police so dad said.
Personally I feel safe to travel time knowing that they are there, so we're investigating their alleged disappearance, what happened? Did you wake up one morning with a total stranger in bed next to you, get used to it!

Don't Panic,
I will stay focussed on these two mysteries, I just thought that as I suspect their possible involvement that a bit of background might be relevant, we should of course study all the facts first and not jump to any conclusions.
