Good evening,
Behold my hasty application to become a sub-editor of the Earth edition of the Guide:
'av you got a job, mister?
Please note that this is actually a perfectly serious application, merely put in a light-hearted and amusing fashion.
Have I shown off my flair for English yet?

Hi LawrenceTao!
You don't seem to have been around too long; it can be nice if subeditors have their own experience of PeerReview so they can understand the system better.
Also you could write an introduction about yourself (link: <./>useredit?masthead=1</.> on your personal space (U520714) so that we all know a bit more about you.

All sound advice. Don't see this as a rejection, but for this round of recruitment we're looking for people who've shown an ability to write well. Why not try Peer Review as Spelugx suggested, and then if you're still interested in a month or so, we'll be back in touch?
