Speller - If I can help somebody... Started conversation Nov 1, 2011
Hi, I used to sub a LONG while ago but faded away due to a change in job and heart - but H2G2 is back with a vengeance, and so am I!
If my sub-editing skills would be of use please allow me into the hallowed halls once more!
Thanks
speller

Hello Speller!
How nice to meet you. Would you care to venture into Peer Review a little, or Edited Guide Workshop, as both of these places really need enthusiastic people to help review and encourage our authors? Gnomon is the person who would most likely consider your application for sub-editing, but I usually try to grab any likely person to help with some volunteering in Peer Review, which makes a good starting place to get back into the swing of things in h2g2.
....and, we really are keen to get as many people writing once again for the Guide, or the Post or our new Showcase - see the Front Page for various links.
If there is anything we can do to help - please ask.
Lanzababy, Guide Editor

Hi Speller. Lanzababy is right, it would probably be best to ease yourself into the job by commenting in Peer Review. It would get you into the habit of "critical reading" (in the best possible meaning of the term). Then we'll look at setting you up on the list of subs.

hey, that's brilliant to hear.
Here's a fresh little Entry that nobody has had time to review as yet:

it might be a good place to start.
Thanks again
