I would like to become a Sub-Editor because I have extensive knowledge of the editing process (as I edit for my website) and can add a touch of gophery goodness to any passage that requires it. I hope to be able to an element of spontaneuity or eloquence to create a better article (if that sounds a bit pompous it's not meant to be)

Hi there,
Thanks for volunteering
Before anyone can leave you meassges on your personal space you need to activate it. To do this, use the 'edit page' button on the top right of your space (or just use this link - <./>UserEdit?Masthead=1</.> ) and type something in. 'Hi' or 'Hello' will do if you don't want to say anything about yourself. Once you've done that an ACE like myself will drop by with some useful hints to get you going.
Anna will get back to you about subbing, so in the meantime spend some time enjoying h2g2 and getting to know the site.

Hello Pseudogopher (and Sir Mort )
Lovely to see you here. I'll add you to the list and will let you know when I'm doing my next round of recruitment, but in the meantime, it would be good if you could spend some time in Peer Review so that you know what sorts of entries crop up.
Hope to see you around on site - and if you have any questions, give me a shout
Anna
