My name is Robyn (nickname). I'm a BA Journalism graduate and have been working as a freelance sub-editor for the last couple of months. I really enjoy this field but I'm having difficulty finding opportunities to diversify my experience. I am keenly interested in working on your sight in this capacity, and would appreciate your consideration of me for this task. Thanks.

Great to see you on h2g2 
and thanks for volunteering. h2g2 will definitely give you a wide range of subbing experience. I'll add you to the list, but in the meantime, it would be a good idea to get involved in Peer Review and other Community areas like ask h2g2.
Oh and by the way, welcome to the site
