A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor
Stepping Forward...

Hello, I am researcher 168675, known virtually as Lochinvar here and Nat in the real world, and I posess a number of qualities that would help in a prospective sub-editorship:
1. Three days a week I work at a job where I sit in front of a computer with painfully little to do. Sometimes I even work an extra four hours on Saturdays. I have no lack of free time to perform sub-editing duties.
2. I am a better-than-fair writer, in the English language. I am currently in an honorary class at college (Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, USA) that teaches not only mechanics and grammar but also style. This class is in preparation for a job as a writing advisor next spring.
3. I have written a few articles myself and am quicly learning the usage of Guide ML.
4. I honestly feel this site is the best use of the internet ever, so I have the best interests of the Guide at heart.
Thanks for the consideration.

Thanks, Lochinvar, for volunteering. You're on my list! I've just recruited a few new subs and they may take some time to settle in. When they have (very soon, no doubt) I'll be in touch.
