You sound like someone forced you into it Pastey. I'm volunteering as well. Voluntarily.

Not forced at all. This is something that I think I'll really enjoy. I know GuideML and other pits and bieces of web programming, I'm a SubEd, I've been around h2g2 for quite a long while now and know my way around enough that I think I'd be reasonably good at it. Or hope I will at least

I'll do my best Beau Geste impression...
[Steps forward smartly and salutes.]
Please consider me volunteered too. I can make myself useful in the submission-related aspect...and it would be nice to have a new hat.

Hmm... I will step forward, even if I am pushed back It seems all these nubile, Turkish ACEs (well, they're friendly enough... ) seem to beat me to un-ACEd newbies whenever I'm on, which results me to using Vegi's page and praying that I find an un-ACEd newbie. Anywho, back to the point, I would gladly volounteer for the job. I spiffy myself to be rather good at HTML/ GUIDEML, I know my way around h2g2 (and I even know how to spell it!), and I'm not afraid to ask preguntas ¿?

Just in case someone missed my post in the other forum, here's another one to remind you of your friendly pan dimensional volunteer!
By the way, just what do you have to be good at to be a Guru?(Don't worry, I've got a long list!)

To be a good Guru you have to answer questions thoughtfully and correctly.
Thanks for volunteering everyone. I'll get a group together and then brief everyone at the same time.

I'd like to volunteer. I think it would be good for someone to represent the younger members of H2G2. (Plus it gives me an excuse to volunteer!)

In that case, may I know what age constitutes the cutoff point for being a younger member of H2G2?
