Hello there!
Thought I'd pop by and say I'm willing to give this a try (if you'll have me)

Ok, Oberon2001, the basic procedure to become a Guru is as follows:
Mina gurifies on Thursdays, that means that until the magic Thursday when it your turn you should hang around the Support Central (U295), and try answering and reading the questions on its conversations list. The more visible you make yourself (in a positive way) the better.

Hi Oberon2001,
U295 is subscribed to all the help pages, where the questions that Gurus answer are likely to be asked. About once or twice a day, the threads are unsubscribed that have had the questions answered. If no threads are shown on <./>MP295</.>, the Gurus have been doing a good job!

Yeah, I've been there a couple of times today already. Nothing there that hasn't already been answered!

It's still worth posting, even if it's only to agree to show that you've been there. I only tend to recruit Researchers who are visible. Although as you are already an ACE I will ask Abi for a reference.
