Hi, I am posting here for the first time. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and a fellow student (who lives in the UK) provided me the bbc.co.uk url. I study Latin via www.seniornet.org and am interested in Roman history. Good tips on how to master the ancient (not medieval) Latin language would be great. Joyce

You haven't exactly picked the best place to post your first post! 
For general tips from other h2g2 users you'd want <./>HowDoI</.> or <./>Askh2g2</.>. As it happens though, there are a couple of clubs/forums specifically about languages, eg: A271379 (older but apparently disused 
) and A1145477 (newer and more current).
