I have to take issue with one part of the review:

I'm wondering how exactly this is different to all the other incarnations... The story has always been fast and disjointed, the planets are *supposed* to have silly names, we're *supposed* to be left clueless by Ford, we're*supposed* to be bemused by Beeblebrox. Makes you wonder if the reviewer has ever actually read the books or listened to the radio play.

He's also assuming that newcomers will be confused. Which hasn't been the reaction I've had from people unfamiliar with the stories. I thought it was funnier than he did, too (I was laughing out loud frequently) but that's terribly subjective. There were plenty of big laughs from the audiences I saw it with, too.
