Heya bub, what's da passwoid?

I used to have a passwoid, but I forgot. It's in my preferences, but it's there as ********** of course.
I wanna change it to something i can remember, so I don't have to use the registration email everytime,
but da thing won't let me change it!!
I type in a new passwoid twice, then press UPDATE and BOOM! it goes right back the way it was.

I just registered and had the same problem. I had to delete the password listed (as **************), then enter the one I'd like to use, but when I click the update button, no dice!

Drop me an email on [email protected]. This sort of thing is easier to sort out by email. Sorry for the delay in responding to you but I have been off sick smiley - sadface

This is what our Technical team said:

"Whatever your password is set to the number of *s in the password field will be the same. You don't want the persons password to be displayed on the screen (someone else could see it
then), nor for that matter to even show how long it is (would make it easier to guess). In fact the password is never sent out to the clients browser as this would generally be a security risk. So I think they have probably managed to successfully change their password but they think they haven't because it is not showing up in the box. If the password wasn't set because, e.g. the confirmation one didn't match then a message should be given saying that the password wasn't changed."

Well I guess your techies are right, Abi. I now realise the answer was always right before me. The enlightenment i thank you for.
