"Recently updated" depends on researchers updating articles themselves then submitting them via the Update Forum, isn't it?

I would assume that 5 busiest conversations is an automatic thing, a la the <./>info</.> page.

Have you missed? Hmm... Well, haven't a clue!

"Perhaps you have not noticed, the top ten posters are no longer on the <./>info</.> page. It was rather time consuming on the servers. If these lists are also automated, their may be some server load to reduce by altering them.
Perhaps even make them so obvious I can grasp within a year what they are about.smiley - winkeye "

The top fives are updated once an hour. However, they won't necessarily often change. The most popular forum usually remains the most popular forum for some time. Some of them are not automatically updated - they are updated by the editors, so they will only change when the editors decide they should change.

"So there is no gain in server load.

More like a regular request for the editorial feedback in that case. "
