Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted Apr 23, 2006
Well, I realise that, of course. And of course I know nothing here is really private (though I prefer to ignore that fact sometimes just for my own peace of mind).
Still, there _is_ a difference between lurking into a convo by choice, either from the 'info' page or from someone's PS, and between being brought into it at random, isn't there?
*shrug* Maybe it's just me.

Traveller in Time reading many conversations
"It would be a way to get to a conversation in PeerReview or to one on a community page, just adding an involvement that would not have occured any other way.
Many conversations are less suitable for receiveing random, on topic comment. Still for someone who looks for them they can be found. "

Traveller in Time informed of the announcements
"This < <./>RandomConversation</.> >(BAD LINK) button is only a feature request. Nothing is implemented (as far as I know).
I try suggest for the implementation is to focus on specific Forums and that way make it sound usefull. "

Also perhaps RandomNewbie (might reduce ACE collisions) or RandomVolunteer (there are lots of "groups" across the various dna sites).

Traveller in Time with a late warning
"The link to 'RandomTypeOfRandomPage' does not work (jet)!
Take care by posting bad links, thee is a house rule against it:
'services without containing material which enhances the subject matter'
Some of mine were removed as 'unsuitable' once, as I did not mark them as nonsense but potential usefull. "

Has anyone actually bothered to ask TPTB about this?
And Jimster, seeing as how you're already here, why not give us an explanation? eg who made the decision to change the name and why.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
