I wrote this article about a month ago. As a student at Imperial College, I've written it to kind of reflect general attitudes of students there as I perceive them to be. Everyone take thepiss out of the medical students...

I thought that Imperial was part of the University of London, and not quite the bastion of glorious isolation that you suggest. If it isn't, then excuse my ignorance. Imperial definitely used to play football in the UoL leagues, though. Dunno if that's so anymore.

In my opinion it would have a greater chance of getting into the edited guide if it had a bit more factual stuff about the history and alumni, etc, etc. I know its not as funny as what you wrote, but it would provide a bit more info.

BTW - Its not just the Imperial college students who don't like St. Mary's medical students; Every medical student in London hates St. Mary's medics too!

Thanks for the comments, I've now added a good bit of info on famous alumni and researchers associated with the college and a bit more on UoL sports.

I'll second the above comment about St Mary's medical students......they are SO superior!!!!!! ........ugh! pass the bucket.

The cockiest medic students I've met were actually from Guy's, oops sorry King's just to piss them off.

Well I was once only a 'provincial' medic.......ugh!
That statement now guarantees me too lowly to be ever spoken to again by the London Posse!

"provincial colleges", oh yeah, sure they're low, low, low. Especially ones located in Oxfordshire. Or Cambridgshire, for that matter.

Sorry to be shirty about this but you ARE an italic, Armagod and should therefore have known enough about the new and old systems at least have had the courtesy of stating that fact at the start of the thread.
