I was a girl guide you know!
Actually I wasn't. I never could conform to such strict regimes!

The more pieces of the puzzle, the clearer the picture gets eh? Why do I feel that all these conversations have been put in a blender! And there was me thinking you weren't that kind of girl! I'll have you know that I don't jangle, or jingle as I walk!

I think anyone reading these sites is going to feel very confused at some of the references. I'm not sure they are adding much to the H2G2 dictionary but what the heck! I'm having a laugh

Haha yeah. I'm sure there's probably a load of confused people out there! I get the feeling it's just you and me talking, and everyone else is just looking on in bewilderment! Oh well I'm having a laugh too! How long have you been a registered researcher then?

Cor, we're going at it hammer and tongs tonight!
I've only been on here since the weekend! I completely missed the Tomorrows World program! Although I think I've made up for it in the last few days!
I did read on your page that you won a prize! You must be well chuffed What was it? A signed copy og HHGTTG?

Yup, but it hasn't turned up yet.
Jave you ever read the book Douglas Adams did with Mark Cawadine about all the endangered species? Now that was a good book!

Doug Dastardly Posted May 19, 1999
No, I've not read that. "Last chance to see" wasn't it called? If you recommend it, I might have to take a look!

He did a talk on it at the Cheltenham Literary Festival about 5 years ago so I got a signed copy.
Highly recommended - You'll find it in the Nature/Natural History section.

That's two signed books you've got and I've got none! I ask you - is that fair! I'll definately look it out and let you know what I think. So just let me warn you, if I hate it, it's all your fault .

Cor, doesn't this bring back memories! (Oh no it doesn't!). Seems like a long time now, but it doesn't half make me smile reading these old posts again! Just look what happened to us!
