So much of what is written on h2g2 about h2g2 is either an self indulgent pat on the back or a extended moan, this intellegent, analytical discussion is refreshing to read.

Thanks, Hon. It ends rather abruptly though, and doesn't really come to any conclusion.
It shows that I simply got Shazz to cut up an entry into four parts rather than taking the time to write four entries.

It is the first of a series of four, and you'll get more readers this way. You do have a Real Life, which can awkwardly interfer with h2g2.

And of course, one of h2g2's specific benefits is being demonstrated by the fact that we're writing a sort of conclusion/trailing off right now in these discusion treads.
