Dear old Captain Mainwaring. The antics of the Walmington on Sea Home guard are always good for a laugh and passed well from TV to the big screen.
What a shame they never made "Father Ted - the movie"
Mrs Doyle falling off the window sill gets me every time 
she is absolute magic!
