Oh another thought:
Bohemian Beer Garden (24th ave and 30th street)
Noted as the last and best beer garden in New York City. You can find a huge selection of Czech beer and a huge garden in the rear with picnic tables, a stage, a grill, and many young hip people. Voted as one of the best beer gardens in America. Also near the Astoria Blvd N stop.

Must try this place. Never heard of it, although I know the Czechs make good beer, Pilsner Urquell. Yum.

It's a great place, especially if you want to go to a bar in Astoria that doesn't play greek music all the time
If you like czech beer try staroprammen (not sure if that's speeled right)... Actually the beer garden would be a fantastic place for a h2g2 nyc outing... hmmm

Hey folks.
Thanks to the bote a youse for the additions to the entry--I'll incorporate them real soon-like.
I'd definitely be up for a little beer garden, too. Let's meet sometime.

Alright, we should all hunt down as many NY folk as possible and we can figure out where to meet and when... sound like a plan?
