Oh, another great restaurant is:
Elias' Corner for Fish (on the corner of 31st St and 24th ave.)
Widely known as one of the best fish restaurants in New York City, this Astoria favorite never disappoints. The first trick of Elias' is the fact that there is no menu. You sit down and the waiter will tell you what fish they have that day. This is because the fish is *very* fresh. This may make some people nervous, but the prices aren't that insane, especially not when compared the the amazing taste. There is often a wait (well worth it) but the service is helpful. There is little decor, but there is an outside section in the back during warmer weather. It is right down the block from the Astoria Blvd. N stop.
Hope this helps
