After the events of today in central London, and after of talking to another resurcher, I think that there isn't any reason why the meet shoulnd't go ahead and every reason why it should So unless* it looks closer to the day like there isn't going to be any meaningful transport opperating in London (which I doubt will be the case come the 16 by which time it should* be all back to its normal ineffectual ways) the meet should I think go ahead. Thoughts? lets drink against terrorism

Damn right. We were agreed in the pub tonight - it's the duty of every Londoner to carry on as normal and not give in to these b'stards!

Even though I'm not coming to the meet any more I vow to get completely larryed on the 16th to show my solidarity.

I wonder if we can get some Classic Goo coloured wristbands made up with our slogan imprinted into them...

Tee shirts! how how how cool would that be; forty plus resurchers all with tee shirts with 'drinking against terrorism ' printed on them Would be een better if we began touring multiple pubs round London as a big group

I've had a quick Google and it seems wristbands would be too expensive and take too long to make.

T-shirts, however, might be an option.

I wish I was still coming now... a Drinking Against Terrorism t-shirt would be sweet.

Keep googling... I was looking up wristbands last week (trying to figure out all the different colours) and saw several sources that sold small batches for reasonable prices.

I found a few that do small batches... but they take 4-6 weeks.

I also realised that most of the sources I found were here in the states.

There's nothing to stop us getting our own t-shirts printed. May prove a little pricey, but it'd be interesting to see what we all came up with. There are plenty of little shops that do it if you provide the artwork, or will just stick on basic lettering.

I was thinnking of the swirly H2G2 logo with 'Drinking Against Terrorism' around it & possibly 'Roymondo' on the back (would also aid identification in the pub).

I just wish I wore tee shirts I only wear shirts really though.... I wonder.... if I got one of those sticker doobry transfer thigns you can print on from the PC printer, and printed it off an put on a white shirt been doing some practise for the meet this weekend

Of course, the badgers will probably give 2legs away!

Nice one. Could do with an H2G2 reference (but I've come to realise that the swirly H2G2 logo would look badly pixellated blown up to a usable size).
