They use a neat little gimmick in the recent movie "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", using old Bowie songs played on acoustic guitar and sung in Portuguese by Seu Jorge. Until you recognize the melody, you'd think it was some sailors' folk song. Then it clicks and you're flooded with old associations.
