I don't think you need the first sentence about the lead-up to the Beijing Olympics - that will become out of date very quickly and it doesn't really add anything.

If you are happy with the content then the sub-ed can do the tidying up. However, if you mean the article needs more work then it must stay in PR
If you could clarify the situation it makes it easier for the Scouts at picking time
